Getting to South Padre Island
Driving: Take Interstate Hwy. 37 south from San Antonio to U.S. Hwy. 77, then east on Texas 100. When your feet get sandy or wet, you've made it.
Flying: You will need to fly by Southwest, Continental, or Sun Country into either Harlingen’s Valley International Airport or Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport. From there you will need to rent a car or take the Airport Shuttle or any of a number of private tour buses to the island.
Catch the WAVE: Once you’re here, transportation to and from the venues, hotels, restaurants, retail shops, and beach, is free via the WAVE or the official Festival Shuttle system. You won’t have to touch those car keys until you are ready to leave.
